1.6-BILLION-year-old Banded Iron Formation Jasper has rolled all the way from the Great Lakes down an ancient river to SW Mississippi, making for the coolest rock story in Mississippi. This is a unique, hand-cut, triangular column bead with large, drilled hole on one end. Created from a rare find from the gravels, this bead contains tiny red pellets of jasper with some hematite as well.
