Lances were primarily thrusting weapons, often wielded from horseback, varying in length from a reported 14-foot model used by the Comanches to a more manageable six-foot design.
Our 6-foot replica Plains-style Lance is crafted on a wooden shaft, wrapped in deer or elk hide and red trade cloth, bound with ribbon, and accented with animal fur, horsehair tassels, hand-painted simulated eagle feather and replica trade bead dangles, and studded with distressed brass tacks. The mild steel blade is made to resemble a hammered-out sword blade.
It usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to finish one of these so order ahead!
Note on shipping: we try our best to generate an accurate automated shipping quote, but it’s tricky on items over 30 inches. Both USPS & UPS have surcharges on long boxes. Having multiple long items in 1 order confuses the automated system even more. If a shipping quote seems more than expected, please email us at email@example.com or use the Contact form to verify shipping. Thanks!
